“Clean Coal”
Technology for Power Generation

Ecca aims to be a significant investor in alternative and renewable energy technology:

We have recently acquired the RSA and African rights to the Australian developed EESTech (HCGT) technology which is the core technology behind two 30MW power stations in Australia.

We are also involved with a South African company (ACT Electricity) which has developed a non combustion system which will capture all CO2 emissions during the power generating process and convert them to saleable bi products. A pilot plant is currently being assembled in Mpumalanga.

Please click on the icons below for access to further details on each system:

EESTech System

Proven Technology

Hybrid Coal Gas Turbine
(HCGT) Combustion process
Uses waste coal and ventilated air methane
Developed by the Scientific Institute CSIRO of the Australian Government
Modular System:- (5 to 30 MW Plants)
Two 30MW plants operational

ACT System

Under Development

Non Combustion (Exothermic) process
Uses waste coal and hazardous materials
Produces electricity and saleable bi products
Captures all emissions
Installations up to 1000MW and larger
Developed in RSA
Pilot plant under construction
